4.20.14 : mountaintop easter sunrise service.
/I only found out about it yesterday, but there is a sunrise Easter service held at the top of the main lift on the mountain I work for every year. The lift starts running at 5:15am and provides a beautiful, eerie ride up the mountain to the lodge Spruce Saddle where the service is held. Unfortunately, with the overcast skies, the sunrise was more of a slow lightening of the skies, which was during the service inside anyway. I'm thankful I managed to pull myself out of bed at 4:30am to make the trek up the mountain. Today is also closing day, so getting to go up before most people were out of bed this morning was a beautiful treat.
