I took this shot from a taxi late at night.  Scenes like this so late at night are just one reason I love NYC and would like to spend more time there documenting it with my REAL camera, haha.  I edited this one similar to my favorite photo, (the county fair hotdog stand) because it had that same feel to me.

krum bums.

My friend Alicia and I took a day-trip up to NYC to see her friend's band the Krum Bums and The Germs.  My good camera is still broken, so I took this photo while the Krum Bums played with my handy little point-and-shoot.  It was better than having no camera at all, and with a little extra editing the photo didn't turn out too bad.  It does make me sad knowing what I could have done with my 30D.  Ah well, such is life.

seashells by the seashore.

Yet another photo from my latest day at the beach.  This will be it for a while (unless I just really want to overwhelm you with more beach photos) because my camera has decided to just quit on me.  Sad news, I know.  I'll be taking it into a repair shop to see what they can do...hopefully it will be ok, but if not, I'll be selling prints of anything on my blog as a fundraiser to help me get a new camera.  I've spotted some used ones on Craigslist that will be just fine if mine is really kaput for good. Anyway, I liked all the little seashells speckled down the shore towards the fisherman.
