star.

I went to the park to break in my new camera and ran into some friends and ended up hanging out in the grass with them for a little while.  This is my friend Jesse's ankle.  I loved his worn out sneakers and the star tattoo with the grass. I also love my new camera.  It's tiny and travel-size!

open for business.

I actually took this shot on my trip to Atlanta for Thanksgiving this past November.  I was waiting on my sister to pick something up from a shoe repair shop and loved the look of the open sign in the dry cleaner's shop through my rainy windshield. I decided to post this one today because I ordered a backup camera and it came today, which means I'm offically back in the photography game...hooray!

under the eiffel tower.

This one is definitely an oldie but a goodie.  It is the oldest photo that I have hanging in my current show at Cafe L'Aube.  I took it while backpacking Europe the first time around in August of 2006.  I was actually sprawled underneath the Eiffel Tower for a while before I got the shot I wanted, which garnered some strange looks from passersby.  However, you can probably tell from the extreme perspectives of a lot of my other photos that laying on the ground in public is nothing new for me. 7-8-09
