When we finally did get to the beach, there were these colorful chair lifts along the beach and I couldn't resist taking a few shots of them with the bright blue sky as a backdrop.

I went back to Philly this weekend to go to the beach with some friends. It was a doomed trip from the start, with us getting on the road an hour later than planned and then hitting traffic that kept us at a dead stop for at least a half hour. Then, when we'd finally almost hit our destination, a digital sign along the road told us that the beach we wanted to go to was full and no more cars were being let in. We had lost our other car at this point and had to pull off and wait for them to figure out what to do. Luckily this little abandoned building with the word Bait on the side of it was there to provide a little photographic inspiration. I've been so down on my game as far as photography goes lately…hopefully I'll be improving in the coming weeks.

This was the other photo that I liked from my night shooting on Monday.  I loved this old sign and since I didn't have a tripod, I was using a strategically placed rock to set my camera on.  This allowed me to get some nice plant action in front of the sign for a little more interesting shot.
