mount rainier.
/When I flew out of Seattle on September 12th, the weather was absolutely beautiful and clear…which made for a spectacular view of Mount Rainier from my window seat. I couldn't believe how blue the sky was and I couldn't stop craning my neck to peer out and watch as we flew beyond the mountain and back east.
fremont bridge.
/I took this towards the end of an extremely long walk back to my friend Brian's house from downtown Seattle. I had ridden down on the bus in the morning and couldn't help but see all sorts of things I wanted to photograph fly by through the windows. I decided it would be worth walking the four miles back in order to get them. Little did I know, Seattle is a very hilly city, and with my penchant for wandering off course, I made what I thought would be a short easy walk into a two hour long hike. However, stiff knees and aching feet aside, I did get some shots that I'm really happy about.
This one in particular was one of my favorites because of the way the warmth of the sun is projected through the photo. I also like the halo of light around the guy walking across the bridge.
