back porch.

I took this back in August when I surprised Ashley and Joel by showing up at their house and breaking in to take a shower while they were gone. Kind of like my own version of Goldie Locks…except there was shampoo instead of porridge. I loved the nostalgic feel of their porch and the lighting was just perfect.

I promise to start digging through my massive amounts of photos and start posting more often.

on the dance floor.

I was lucky enough to shoot a beautiful wedding last Friday for a couple I met through a photographer I've never met! The day was an easy one, as the couple was not only laid-back, but incredibly friendly and easy to work with. This is one of my favorite shots from the dance floor that evening. The DJ had some pretty cool lights going and the night was coming to a close, so everyone was getting in a few last dances while they could.

shootin' hoops in boston.

I took this while walking with Sam and Brooklyn Peters, who graciously hosted me during my time in Boston. There was a court on the sidewalk near their apartment and I swung my arm over and snapped a few frames, hoping for exactly what I got here. The I felt like the chain link fence would add something more interesting to the usual basketball court photo. I was lucky to have some amazing sunny warm weather while there as well, which was awesome for taking photos. PS Every time I upload my photos to Wordpress they seem to lose a lot in clarity and vibrancy. Does anyone know why this happens and how to solve it?
