this is lecos croes.

During one of my days on the island of Aruba, I decided to rent a bicycle and ride around the island to get some photos of things other than the beach I'd been religiously laying on since my arrival. Lucky for me, I happened upon a fine old gentleman trying his luck at fishing off some of the rocks I was riding by. Even luckier for me, he was more than happy to let me take his photo and sit with him for a bit.

His name is Lecos Croes, and he is part of the most prominent families on the island. His father was a fisherman, and although he doesn't currently make his living doing the same, he loves to spend his afternoons with a line in his hand, hoping for a bite or two.

boston.

While visiting Sam and Brooklynne Peters in Boston, they took me down to the water near their apartment to show me a great view of the skyline. Lucky for me there were lots of pretty sailboats docked in the area to liven up the average "night skyline" photo that I try to avoid doing over and over. It was a beautiful night that couldn't have been better for photos.

shootin' hoops in boston.

I took this while walking with Sam and Brooklyn Peters, who graciously hosted me during my time in Boston. There was a court on the sidewalk near their apartment and I swung my arm over and snapped a few frames, hoping for exactly what I got here. The I felt like the chain link fence would add something more interesting to the usual basketball court photo. I was lucky to have some amazing sunny warm weather while there as well, which was awesome for taking photos. PS Every time I upload my photos to Wordpress they seem to lose a lot in clarity and vibrancy. Does anyone know why this happens and how to solve it?
