the end's not near, it's here.

Today was my last day in Shepherdstown with Joel and Ashley.  We're in Columbia for the night at a friend's house, but we're parting ways tomorrow.  Leaving Shepherdstown behind was a difficult and nostalgic thing.  I'm so happy I got to share my time there with them and go back to visit often.  Now that they're moving on, I doubt I'll get out there anytime soon, but who knows.  Our last walk through the town included buying a bottle of wine and indulging in eggrolls from China Kitchen.  It was a nice farewell. This photo was taken in front of China Kitchen as we waited to go inside for our eggrolls.  The library is in the background as Joel writes away in his notebooks during our last moments in the town.
