clover hunting.

Andrea made me a crown (which later became a necklace) out of clover blossoms.  She and Jason walked around the park looking for the perfect ones to create the chain. 5-25-09(3)

my turquoise toes.

I recently had a pedicure gone wrong...I asked for clear nail polish and the lady insisted that I must have color on my toes "all year long."  Not really caring all that much, I made the mistake of letting her choose the color, which just happened to be turquoise.  Oddly enough, I've found that they've been matching my life perfectly...color-wise at least.  As you can see, today's lounge in the park was no exception. 5-25-09(2)

my moccasins.

I enjoyed my Memorial Day off (the cafe is closed for renovations today) by biking over to a park and meeting up with my friends Andrea and Jason.  We spent a while basking in the warmth of the sun and then retreated to their apartment for a delicious homemade Italian meal of pesto pasta, bruschetta and a plate of fresh mozzarella, tomatoes and basil.  So satisfying and summery.  I'll be posting a few different photos from the day, but this first one is just my newly made pair of moccasins in the green grass.  I usually don't think too much of simple shots like this, but I loved the business of the green grass for some reason. 5-25-09
