This was from an afternoon snack of nachos and guacamole at Cantina, a new favorite spot of mine here in Philadelphia.  I was with my friend and coworker Alicia and I just liked how the sun was so warm and inviting outside as a contrast to the darkness and shadows of being inside.

I took this photo today while out with a friend getting coffee and a quick bite at Anthony's Italian Coffee House in the Italian Market.  The sun was beaming down as we sat at the mesh-outdoor tables and watched cars and people go by while sipping our iced coffee.  I took this from beneath the table, and I just love how vivid the sky turned out.  I did quite a few versions of this same photo and later had a difficult time narrowing them down (the downfalls of shooting digital and taking multiples), but when I saw this one had caught a bird flying through I had to choose it.

Andrea made me a crown (which later became a necklace) out of clover blossoms.  She and Jason walked around the park looking for the perfect ones to create the chain.
